Magnificent waterfall in Kegalle

Devagiri Ella Falls is a magnificent waterfall. It’s a bit far away from the road towards Dedugala from (6km) Bulathkohupitiya town. Not much popular among the locals as there is no clear path to the falls. which is 90m high. Finally Diyangiri Ella Falls will be connected with the Kelani River. There is a bathing place and after walking, you can get a refresh with cool water. You can go there by following the stream from the falls. Especially it’s an amazing place for photography and nature trails with cool water

The Diyangiri fall is situated in Dedugala, Ehala Palanpitiya (mountain), in the Kegalle District. The villages may call to this waterfall also as Diyangiri Ella. Similarly, you can visit all the beautiful waterfalls around the Dedugala area.

-The fall lies about 5kms from Bulathkphupitiya on the Dolosbage Road but not visible to the road. To see the falls, You need to walk on a gravel road to the right for about 750 meters. towards the river.
– Ask directions from locals
– Do not visit during rainy season
– Do not carry Plastic items, Make sure you bring back everything you took.
